Fossil Sport 2 could be on the way
It sounds like Fossil could be prepping a successor to its sporty Wear OS smartwatch after evidence emerged that suggests a reveal is on the horizon. A new Fossil smartwatch has been spotted getting approval on the Bluetooth SIG website. That's the place devices usually end up to get the thumbs for meeting the required standard for Bluetooth technologies. The watch was listed with the DW10F1 ID, which is interesting because a device with the DW9F1 ID appeared around the same time as the first Fossil Sport was launched. So this could well be the new Sport. There is every possibility it could be a new Fossil Explorist or Venture watch, but it's interesting it has appeared on its own.
The first Fossil Sport launched in 2018 becoming one of the first Wear OS watches to run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 3100 processor. We scored it a decent 3.5/5 in our review while Google's CEO Sundar Pichai was spotted wearing the watch on stage at its annual developer conference back in May.Only a few weeks ago a series of listings on the FCC revealed that that new watches from Fossil Group brands Michael Kors, Emporio Armani and Diesel watches were on the way. It looks like we can add another watch to that list of upcoming devices.
The VR Today. Currently Virtual Reality is growing in popularity and while companies like the Oculus Rift are losing some of their customers because of unpopular marketing practices, other devices, including the HTC Vive are taking the VR stage. Furthermore, with Google Cardboard creating the concept and other companies taking note, Smartphone Virtual Reality Goggles are letting consumers easily enjoy and experience immersive virtual and augmented reality. With huge consumer base, the multiple platforms for development, and the lack of many VR games and experiences, small start-ups as well as huge companies are investing huge amounts of money into the development of content for Virtual Reality, which might very well help VR finally achieve the world-wide recognition it didn’t manage to achieve on the market for years.

Fitbit Inspire gets new watch faces
If you own a Fitbit Inspire or a Fitbit Inspire HR, there's a new software update available that fixes bugs but also brings new watch faces to your fitness tracker.
There's five new watch faces in total, which can be found in the Fitbit Clock Gallery inside of the Fitbit companion smartphone app. The version 1.63.5 update is starting to roll out now and will continue to do so over the following weeks, so you may not see it straight away. Back in March, Fitbit temporarily removed its Heavy Stats and Valerie watch faces, which appeared to be impacting on the device's battery life performance. But it looks like it's trying to make amends after those issues by giving us more time telling options to choose from.
Stanley G. Weinbaum is a well-known science fiction writer from 1930’s told us about this technology in his short story named Pygmalion’s Spectacles. His work made him a true visionary in the field of Virtual Reality. The story shares the idea that the wearer of the goggles can experience fictional worlds, even before the official term was coined.
Samsung Galaxy Galaxy Fit gets improved HR skills
Staying on the update theme, Samsung has rolled out a new software update for its Galaxy Fit fitness tracker, which along with general stability improvements also brings a useful new feature.
The 20MB update makes has made tweaks in the battery charging department but more interestingly brings an on-screen button to enable you to take on the spot heart rate measurements. The Over-The-Air update was first spotted by Fit users in France, so you may well see the update roll out to other territories over the coming days. Samsung's successor to the Gear Fit2 Pro has only been on sale for around a month, so it's good to see that Samsung is already managing to make improvements to its $100 tracker we are still currently putting through its paces.
Sleep tracking has been present in Samsung smartwatches before, but now it's much more integrated into the Galaxy Watch and viewable through the Samsung Health smartphone app. Apple, Fitbit and Garmin already do it, so Samsung clearly didn't want to be left out offering stress tracking features on the Galaxy Watch.

New TicWatch incoming 10 JulyTicWatch makers Mobvoi have released a video showing off what looks like a new smartwatch with all set to be revealed on the 10 July. This could well be the TicWatch Pro LTE that popped up on the company's website a few weeks ago. Mobvoi is expected to update its more luxury Wear OS smartwatch with LTE connectivity, which is tipped to be available through US cellular network Verizon.
As far as the design, the video seems to suggest it'll look quite similar to the first TicWatch Pro but could offer a more rugged and durable look.
Its not just about the fun and games. Other than providing action-packed, fun-filled entertainment for the entire family, VR plays a big role to help humanity as developers use it to help those in need in ways that were unimaginable 20 years ago. Some use it to cure phantom pain among amputee victims, while others rely on VR to provide therapy for soldiers suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. VR has also been proven to help children with autism by teaching them social cues and real world lessons. It is being used as a practice board for surgical students before they make the first cut. There is even a VR content targeted at young adults that simulates their physical condition when they get to their 60s, and thus encourages them to save for the future.
