Frostpoint VR 10v10 Shooter Releasing Dec 1st

Frostpoint VR is a new PvP PC VR shooter coming to a headset near you on December 1st.

InXile entertainment revealed the game will be ready to play in just under two weeks from now. There was a closed beta in August, which many players I’ve talked to seemed to enjoy.

Frostpoint will be availale on Steam and Oculus for a measly $24.99. The game will be suppoted on the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Valve Index headsets. Frostpoint is the brainchild from the creators of Wastland, The Bard’s Tale, and the Mage’s Tale. It looks like inXile is stretching their wings and have their sights set on the competitive shooter genre.

Frostpoint VR Gameplay

Frostpoint will absolutely have some of the classic modes like Conquest and Team Deathmatch, the devs have made it clear they want to try some new things.
There’s a whole second layer with the PvE element.” – Pete Mayberry, Lead Designer

Besides the typical, juicy PVP content, the game will have monsters and other NPCs trying to take you down. You’ll be fighting against rival teams and creatures. Sounds like a good time to me.

Not to mention, there will be a leaderboard spanning a few weeks at a time. If you’re good at competitive VR shooters, there’s never been a better time to rack up some clout on the big screen. “Pwn n00bs” as we used to say. Oh yeah, the top five players will receive RTX 3080s, an Oculus Quest 2, Amazon gift cards, and other big-ticket items.

Virtual I/O created a $1000 pair of virtual reality glasses called “iGlasses” in 1995.

We’re super exited to boot up Frostpoint and so some sick 360 no scopez in VR. Are you interested in Frostpoint VR? Let us know in the comments below.
